8th Guanchao Cyberspace Forum at the Global Digital Economy Summit

Leaders and Experts Gather to Discuss the Path to a Stable and Prosperous Digital Economy

Beijing, July 6, 2023 — Held as part of the “Beijing Global Digital Economy Summit,” the “Digital Security International Cooperation Forum and the 8th Guanchao Cyberspace Forum” took place at the National Convention Center. The event, hosted by Qi’anxin Group and organized by the Global Digital Economy Summit Committee, centered on building a trusted, rule-based framework for global data flow. Key figures, including Orlins, Chairman of the US-China Business Council, Zhu Juwang, Director of the Public Institutions and Digital Government Division at the United Nations addressed the need for international collaboration in the digital economy. Leaders and scholars explored strategies to ensure a secure and prosperous global digital economy, focusing on open cooperation and effective data governance.

The 8th Guanchao Cyberspace Forum, co-initiated by the National Academy of Innovation and Development Strategy and Qi’anxin Group, took place in 2023. This unique platform brings together experts, scholars, and officials from various countries, focusing on pressing issues in the digitized era of cyberspace, including global cyberspace governance, cybersecurity, cross-border data flow, and the digital economy. The discussions reflect the Asian Academy of Digital Economy’s commitment to fostering secure and open digital environments and the Guanchao Cyberspace Forum’s role in providing a dynamic platform for international dialogue on these critical issues.

It is worth mentioning that The Asia Academy of Digital Economics is a supporting organization of this year’s Guanchao Cyber Forum, and its President, Chen Bohui, attended the conference as a guest.
